MAPUSA: A resident of Dameda Galar, Tivim has filed a complaint against two unknown persons for allegedly snatching her gold chain at Mapusa Police Station.
Complainant Sonia Navdev Kalangutkar, aged 50, informed that she along with her sister-in-law was walking to her neighbour’s house when two unknown persons wearing white colour shirt came on a white Duke bike and snatched her gold chain worth Rs 1.50 lakh and fled from the spot.
Immediately, the complainant and her sister in-law shouted for help. Soon all the nearby neighbours gathered at spot. The locals have now requested the police to conduct strict patrolling in their village.
