Beware, tourists. Bag-snatching miscreants are on the prowl along the Colva beach.
A tourist family which visited Colva beach on Monday learnt the bitter truth when unknown miscreants decamped with their bag, which contained valuables worth around Rs 1.91 lakh.
Police said the Narendra Mehra family had visited Colva beach this afternoon. They sat on the beach to have lunch, when suddenly they realized that their bag has gone missing.
The bag contained diamond ornaments, a cell phone, two wrist watches and sun glasses.
The Colva police are investigating.
