Responding mildly to the lockdown some cloth shops, bars were seen open at Ponda and also at interiors of Ponda taluka. However, looking at large number of people moving on their bikes and cars and other private vehicles at Ponda market many people were seen worried about this lockdown.  There was rush in fish and vegetable markets. Many fruit vendors were seen doing brisk business at main road.

The private buses were off road. Few KTC buses were plying with few  passengers.
