VASCO: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President Sankalp Amonkar on Saturday urged the government to inquire into charges of electricity bill of the official government bungalow, which in issued in personal name of Urban Development Minister Milind Naik.
Amonkar also questioned as to how the new bungalow of Naik can have so less bill when the bungalow was lit during Ganesh festivity.
In a press conference called by the GPCC Vice President, he said, “How a power and water bills of the government premises could be issued in the personal name of Naik. The official government bungalow is not the personal asset of Naik.”
Amonkar demanded that there should be an inquiry in the matter in which an electricity bill of Rs 172 for 50 days of the newly constructed bungalow of Minister Milind Naik went viral on social media. People from various sections of the society raised their eyebrows over this matter complaining that the common people are paying thousands of rupees bill and the ministers are paying less amount of bill.
