Dr Vilas Naik, the newly appointed administer, took charge of Goa Dairy on Wednesday.
Dr Naik has vast administrative experience as deputy director of Veterinary Department.
After taking charge, Dr Naik said that due to floods in Karnataka and Maharashtra the supply of milk from those States was affected.
With rains subsiding and receding, he hoped that smooth supply of milk would be restored.
Emphasising that people of Goa are looking at Goa Dairy with great hope, Dr Naik said, “I will look into the affairs of Goa Dairy from today and will see that the quality of milk and reputation of Goa Dairy is maintained.”
