Kala Academy’s Art Gallery is presently hosting an exhibition of paintings titled
‘Poetic Hues’, comprising the works of artist and poet Nirupa Naik. The
exhibition was inaugurated at the hands of renowned artist Padmashri Laxman Pai
and noted author Uday Bhembre.
A painting graduate from the University of Bombay, Nirupa worked
as a designer at the Design & Development Centre, Government of Goa. She
has to her credit numerous state awards and felicitations and has participated
in various art camps and locals, national and international shows, exhibiting
her works collectively as well as solo. Her works are in the collections of
several private and public collections in India and abroad.
