Stray cattle

Stray cattle on the roads have been a constant threat to the safety of road-users in the state. These cattle pose more danger at night as they cannot be seen in the darkness, especially on roads where there are no street-lights. It seems that pounding the stray cattle and imposing fine on their owners has not achieved the desired result.

A BIG STORY OF A SMALL LADDOO
 If the authorities are not able to tackle the menace they should now think of putting up sign-boards along the roads which read  “Beware-Stray Cattle May Be Present Ahead” at places where stray cattle is present, specially on the roads passing through the villages.
