VASCO: Holi festival, the festival of colours was celebrated with traditional pomp and great religious fervour across the port town on Monday.
The celebrations started after Murgao Nagrik Shigmotsav Samiti members performed the traditional rituals and offered prayers to lord Damodar at Vasco. People from all walks of life participated in the celebrations applying colours to each other.

The revellers also took out a processions in their vehicles in the town, dancing to the beating of drums and playing music.
