MAPUSA: Eagles Sports Club Sanquelim registered a fluent 3-1 win over Football Club of Tuem in the GFA U-14 Second Division League played at Duler Stadium here on Sunday.
It was Tuem lads that surprised their opponent with a 19th minute goal with Prince Ekka scoring from inside the penalty box, 1-0.
On resumption of play, Eagles outfit that had missed to score in the first half saw Sachin Gawli net a brace scoring in the 46th and 70th minutes while Soham Parab added his name to the scorers list to collect full three points.
Meanwhile, Dempo Sports Club eased past FC Goa in the GFA U14 League played at Ella ground, on Sunday.
Ashish Kumar, Dalwin Coelho and Utkarsh Kundaikar netted a goal each for the winners.
FC Goa were totally outplayed by the host in all department of the game and rarely gave them any chance in the game to score goals.
