Success: Self Stimulus

“There is always a woman behind every man’s success.” This proverb was often true, when successful men usually had a wife at home, taking care of the cooking, cleaning, and children, so that her man could focus all his energy upon his career. She also acted as a pillar of support when things got bad financially; she would take up a job and thus be a heroic huntress – to add to the family’s kitty with her modest wages.
This saying was also true as, a woman’s touch counts a lot to be behind a man’s success; with her feminine influence; with her incitement when the man comes back from work to a happy home. All this made men say that they “wouldn’t have been who they are if it wasn’t for the woman”.  But it is also correct that woman’s manipulation can also be behind man’s failure and cause man’s misery.
If there is a woman behind every successful man than it can be also be said that behind every successful woman there is a man or any other supportive companion because men and women are people. They are not some magical creatures who wave a magic wand and suddenly make some individuals successful. Therefore, intellectual human beings understand that no man is an island; there are parents, teachers, and friends who influence men and women to great heights of success.
There are many single men who have managed to reach great heights of success and fame without a wife in their lives. Of course they had their mother behind them like a lighthouse, a lamp post lighting their way on their journey to the shores of success. But that doesn’t mean the mother supports the man throughout. There are men whose motivation comes from within; and they have turned successful with their efforts and talent for example: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam — Recipient of the highest civilian award Bharat Ratna, a scientist, a philosopher, a teacher and one of greatest president of India has ever had.
Similarly there are women who have never succumbed to the pressure to walk down the aisle. Writer and spinster Louisa May Alcott wrote that “liberty is a better husband than love to many of us”.
Success comes with proper direction, consistent efforts towards a single goal. It comes to those who have an ambition, courage to face massive success and work towards it. Success does not come to others who do not have enough guts and to those who treat their aim as childish dreams. The real secret of success is “Passion, Hard-work, Perseverance, Strategy and Focus.” Only weak human being  require another person as a pillar of strength without whom they cannot stand like a concrete structure that cannot stand without the steel frame inside. You can find plenty of such persons in the world.
