PORIEM: Union Minister of State for Tourism and North Goa Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Shripad Naik addressed public meetings at Valpoi, Velguem and Sanvordem in Sattari taluka on Sunday.
Naik thanked people for believing him and electing him as a MP fore five times. “I am thankful to the people for giving an opportunity to a common man like me to serve the nation,” he said.

Naik also said that earlier India was lacking behind in all the sectors and now during the BJP rule, India has become one of the best countries in the world. “Our government has even fought bravely with the Covid-19 and brought the country back to normal state,” he said.
Naik further said that many other Members of Parliament from other States are surprised and asking him how he had won the elections for five times. “I replied them that I didn’t win the election, but my people has made me win these all elections,” he said.
Naik said that with all the blessings of people, he will again create a record of winning elections for the sixth consecutive term.
Naik was accompanied by Valpoi MLA and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, former Deputy Speaker Narahari Haldankar, sarpanchas of various village panchayats of Sattari taluka, ZP Member Rajashree Kale, Valpoi BJP prabhari Vinod Shinde, Sateri Devasthan president Kashinath Gaonkar, Kelbai president Milind Gaonkar all the panchayat members and others.

Naik also sought blessings at Shree Dev Brahmadev at Shree Brahmadev Devasthan.
