Following a heated debate in the Goa Legislative Assembly, the state government has agreed to the Opposition’s demand to refer the Goa Public Universities Bill, 2025 to a Select Committee for further scrutiny.
The committee will be chaired by Minister Subhash Shirdokar and is expected to review the provisions of the proposed legislation before it is brought back to the House for consideration.
