PANJIM: Goa University lost to University of Kota in the West Zone Inter-University Cricket Championship for men organized by Bharkatullah University, Bhopal.
Put in to bat, Goa University scored 119 in 30 overs. Infrancio Correia was the top scorer with 40 runs in 29 balls (four sixes and two fours), Shivprasad Porohit scored 28 in 43 balls (two sixes and a four) while Atul Yadav scored 15 runs in 38 balls (one four).
University of Kota reached the target with the loss of six wickets. Ajay Kewal took three wickets, Shivprasad Prohit two while Ashish Naik one.
