Goa Velha Sports Club moved into the quarter-finals of Pramodini Dattaram Palyekar Soccer, organised by Football Club of Siolim, with a 5-4 tie-breaker win over Anjuna gymkhana, at St. Anthony’s church ground, Siolim, on Monday. There was no score at the end of the regulation period.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Valerio Vaz, Francis Pires, Joseph Rodrigues, Anthony Rego and Kunal Rodrigues scored for Goa Velha, while Vinayak Mulgaonkar, Rajesh Shirodkar, Stanley Sequeira and Savio Carvalho scored for Anjuna.
