AGASSAIM: A fine double from Vihar Kholkar ensured Shree Nagesh Maharudra Sports Club scored a narrow 2-1 win over Goa Velha Sports Club in the Goa Football Association U-20 Division Two at Agassaim ground, on Monday.
The winners led 2-0 at the break. Vihas opened the account in the 21st minute before doubling the account at the half hour mark.
Goa Velha managed to pull a goal back in the 77th minute through Mashaka Kamatag.
Goa Velha’s Lakesh Gawas and Alme Fernandes and Shree Nagesh’s Devesh Adkonkar went into the referee’s books for rough play.
