ALDONA: A minor boy from Bastora attacked another boy with a knife due to some previous enmity in front of St Thomas High School, Aldona on Thursday afternoon. The victim suffered minor injuries in the assault. The incident was reported to Mapusa Police Station at 2.30 pm on the same day.
Investigating Officer Kiran Naik informed Herald that since both the boys are minors and hence their statements have been recorded and sent to Juvenile Justice Board (JJB).
The victim is a student of St Thomas Higher Secondary School, Aldona while the alleged assailant is a drop out.
Naik said that the minors first started arguing with each other and later the drop out assaulted the school going minor. The duo will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board on Monday.
