The Attorney of the Fabrica da Igreja da Orlim has said the Supreme Court Tuesday has dismissed the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by Meenakshi Financial consultants which has proposed to construct 66 flats and a swimming poll in the village of Orlim.
The Attorney said that the Supreme Court, while dismissing the SLP at the stage of admission, has directed Meenakshi to file a suit for appropriate reliefs. He said that Justice N A Britto of the Panjim bench of the Bombay High Court had earlier passed an order that there was no right of way from the Fabrica property to that of the builder’s property.
“The SC on January 4, 2011 has upheld the high court order and has dismissed the SLP filed by Meenakshi Financial consultants”, the Attorney said.
