PANJIM: Goa’s Ace divers Megan de Almeida and Nikhil Narayanrao Nagvekar brought laurels to the State by winning 3 gold and 2 silver medals at the 62nd National school games held at Rajkot, Gujrat, recently.
Megan, a student of Sunshine Worldwide School, Old Goa won three gold medals.
Nikhil, a student of Peoples Higher Secondary School, Panjim won 2 silver medals in 1metre, spring board diving and 3 metre spring board diving and also managed to secure 4th Place in platfom diving for U-19 boys.
Mithil Joshi and Aliyah Andrade also gave their best performance. All the divers were trained by SAG’s senior coach P. Narsimhalu.
