PANJIM: AC Milan, Tivrem defeated Antruz Academy, Ponda to emerge champions in the All-Goa tennis cricket tournament (hit-out), organised by Antruz Art and Sports Academy in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa, at Ponda Sports Complex, Curti, Ponda, on Sunday.
AC Milan of Tivrem received Rs 20,000 while Antruz Academy, Ponda bagged Rs10,000 along with medals and Certificates.
The semi-finalist– Capeshwar Sports Club, Vasco and CC Boys, Panjim were awarded Rs 2500 each.
In women section North Women defeated South Women team to emerge winners.
Chairman of Ponda Complex Maintenance Committee Sandeep Khandeparkar, was the chief guest for the final while Anura Prabhudesai was special guest for the closing ceremony of the tournament.
Anil Poiguinkar was also present.
Rajesh Kunkalyenkar welcomed the guests while Sandeep Shetkar proposed the vote of thank. Nilesh Naik compered the programme.
The tournament was co-ordinated by Chandan Dongrekar, Hemant Khot, Ajinkya Naik, Nikhil Naik, Amey Phadte, Aman Naik, Pratish Naik and other members of AASA.
