On the occasion of the Birthday of Mother Mary, Our Lady of Grace Church, Bicholim, celebrated Mother’s day. Fr Nelson Lobo was the main celebrant for the Feast Mass along with the Parish Priest Fr Caetano Dourado and Assistant Parish Priest Fr Soccoro Rebelo. The Eucharistic celebration was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony by a youngest mother from amongst the parishioners.
This was followed by the release of a book titled ‘Tersachea Magnneacho Jhelo’ written by Fr Soccoro Rebelo and Fr Myron Jeson Barreto. As the month of October is dedicated to the most Holy Rosary, this booklet’s main aim is to guide families while praying the Rosary in their homes. The evening ended with a variety of programmes organized by the catechists which were beautifully portrayed by young children and teenagers. Catechists participated in a beautiful Mando. Each programme conveyed a meaningful message to all.
