Opposition MLAs cornered Health Minister
Vishwajit Rane on the lack of facilities and specialists at the South Goa
District Hospital, due to which they alleged it has become a referral hospital
with 3012 referrals from April 2022 to February 2023. They demanded to know how
much money was required and when it would be completely functional. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane was cited the
difficulties in getting specialists and said a Model would be created with a
tie up with HLL and a committee would be formed under Chief Minister Pramod
Sawant and the process would be completed in 6 months and all services will be
integrated.
