PANJIM: Cheryl Sequeira of Shirvodem-Navelim, wife of former National Motocross and Supercross champion Allan Sequeira, breathed her last in London, on Wednesday.

Cheryl was the one who fully supported and accompanied Allan in all the Motocross and Supercross events held all over India as well as Goa and backed him to the hilt taking great pride in pushing the former champion to achieve fame and glory.
Jovito Lopes, senior journalist, who covered motocross and supercross events in Goa, while eulogising Cheryl’s role in Allan achieving his goal, stated, “She definitely had a very big role to play with devotion and sacrifice in Allan’s chequered career.” “She played a critical role behind the curtain,” he added.
