A truck overturned in the Manaswada area of Kundaim, raising fresh concerns about road safety in the accident-prone zone. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this latest incident. However, the frequent occurrence of such accidents — some of which have previously resulted in fatalities — has reignited demands from local residents for stricter traffic management.
According to residents, although a bypass road has been completed, heavy vehicles continue to ply through the narrow and unsafe Manaswada route. Locals are urging authorities to enforce diversion of trucks and other large vehicles via the newly constructed bypass to prevent further mishaps.
