MARGAO: A collision between a truck and an SUV resulted in injuries to one driver, who has been admitted to hospital.

The Maina-Curtorim police registered an offence under sections 281 and 125(b) of BNS 2023.
The incident occurred on November 20, at around 2 am on the New Western bypass in Nuvem. Sayanth Santhosh Kumar, the driver of the SUV, allegedly drove recklessly, crashing into the back of the container truck. The driver sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at GMC Bambolim. Police have conducted a panchanama and seized both vehicles involved.
