The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has apprehended three individuals, including a supplier, in connection with a cocaine bust at Campal during a raid conducted in the early hours of Saturday.
According to the police, the operation began with intelligence inputs that led ANC sleuths to lay a successful trap at St Cruz, where two suspects were detained with 7.9 grams of cocaine. The raid was led by PSI Girish Padloskar along with ANC staff.

Following the arrests, the accused were thoroughly interrogated, which led to the identification of the drug supplier. The police then maintained technical surveillance on the individual, closely monitoring his movements.
In a swift and discreet follow-up operation, the ANC team—headed by DySP Nerlon Albuquerque and assisted by PSI Dindayal Redkar—apprehended the supplier. A four-wheeler used by the accused was also seized during the operation.

The entire operation was closely supervised by SP ANC Sunita Sawant. Officials stated that the ANC, following a bottom-to-top investigative approach, is currently pursuing further leads to establish both forward and backward linkages in the drug network.
