NUVEM: Eleas Panjim Veterans downed Loutolim Veterans 3-1 to march into the semi-finals of 1st All-Goa inter-village veterans football tournament organised by Marc Caterers Nuvem at Nuvem Church ground, on Tuesday.
In the first half, Panjim Veterans took the lead through the efforts of Govind Balekar.
Down with a goal, Loutolim Veterans tried their best by attacking the rival citadel time and again.
A few minutes later, Loutolim Veterans change their attacking strategy and found their much-needed equaliser through the boots of Laurence.
Before the half time, Govind doubled the lead and completed his brace. Post resumption, Panjim Veterans scored the third goal with the efforts of Nevil Araujo.
