CM Pramod Sawant Vows to Regularise All Unauthorised Homes Under Mhaje Ghar Scheme Before 2027

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, speaking at the BJP’s Zilla Panchayat campaign in Corlim, reaffirmed that the party’s leadership is “in politics to serve people, not make money,” stressing that the BJP has consistently worked toward Goa’s development since 2012.

Addressing the gathering, Sawant announced that all unauthorised homes eligible under the Mhaje Ghar scheme will be regularised before the 2027 Assembly elections — a move that is expected to bring long-awaited relief to scores of families across the state.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s flagship welfare initiatives, including Griha Aadhar and Ladli Laxmi, noting that monthly financial assistance continues to support economically weaker sections. He emphasised that the BJP-led government remains committed to strengthening social welfare and improving living standards for Goans.
