PM Modi to chair 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries from Dec 26-28

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the fifth National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi from December 26 to 28. The three-day summit aims to strengthen the partnership between the Centre and states, focusing on administrative reforms and the effective implementation of national development goals to realise the “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) vision.

Union ministers and senior officials from states and Union Territories will attend the event. Officials said the conference is the culmination of months of preparation, including more than 150 virtual and physical workshops to address state-specific challenges. The 2025 theme, “Human Capital for Viksit Bharat,” will highlight education, health, economic hubs, and frontier technologies as key pillars of discussion.
