ANC Arrests 23-Year-Old in Anjuna, Seizes Drugs Worth 1.15 Lakh

The Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) arrested a 23-year-old man during a late-night operation in Anjuna and seized narcotic substances valued at approximately 1.15 lakh. The accused, identified as Rishikesh, was allegedly caught in possession of suspected ecstasy powder and hydroponic ganja. The seizure was made at an open space located behind St Michael’s School, near the BSNL tower.

Based on the recovery, the ANC registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the drugs and possible links to a larger network operating in the area.
