Skeleton Scare at IGI Airport Turns Out to Be Medical Model

Panic briefly gripped Terminal 3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday after a box containing what appeared to be a human skeleton was discovered in the departure area. The sight triggered a security alert, prompting Delhi Police and airport security personnel to rush to the spot and carry out checks. According to police, the box was found near an airline office between 9 and 10 am. During the investigation, officials learned that a passenger had left the box with airline staff after being denied permission to carry it onboard. The item was later spotted by housekeeping staff, who alerted security. Upon inspection, police confirmed the skeleton was not real but an educational model commonly used in medical and nursing colleges.
