The Arpora-Nagoa Village Panchayat has informed the Goa High Court that it will not renew trade licences for commercial establishments operating from illegal constructions, in response to a public interest litigation (PIL) concerning unauthorised structures in the area.
During the hearing, the panchayat assured the court that notices would be issued to owners of illegal constructions and that appropriate action would be initiated in accordance with the law.
