Residents at the meeting highlighted the daily hardships faced due to the absence of proper crossing infrastructure, including safety risks, traffic congestion, and difficulties for schoolchildren, senior citizens, and working commuters. Several speakers stressed that the lack of a safe passage has remained unresolved for years.

The meeting also witnessed heated exchanges, reflecting the strong emotions and urgency attached to the issue. Villagers urged the authorities to consider a practical and time-bound resolution to address the longstanding demand.

The newly formed committee is expected to engage with the Railways and other departments in the coming days to push for early approval and implementation of the project.
