Alright, it is all done, another bad day, or rather humiliation, for Pakistan against Surya and Co. First, the Men in Blue struck four times in the powerplay to put Pakistan under immense pressure in their chase of 176 in the third game for both teams on Sunday in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Things ended on a positive note for the India camp, but for the Shaheens it was all but over with little sign of resurgence. Jasprit Bumrah struck twice in his two overs, while Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel also picked up a wicket each, leaving Pakistan struggling at 71/4 in 10 overs.
Initially, Ishan Kishan smashed a 27-ball half-century and shared an explosive 87-run partnership for the second wicket with Tilak Varma as India posted a competitive 175/7 on the board after being invited to bat in their Group A clash. With the ball, all the Indian bowlers had a day to enjoy as India went on to win the match by 61 runs.
