The provisional attachment has been carried out under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), pending further adjudication.

Ongoing Investigation

The ED stated that its action is based on findings from investigations into offences registered under the NDPS Act. Authorities suspect that the accused laundered illicit funds derived from drug-related activities by investing them in immovable properties.

Further investigation is underway to trace additional assets and examine the financial trail linked to the case.

The attached properties will remain under the control of the agency until the matter is decided by the competent authority under the PMLA framework.
