MARGAO: The Fatorda unit of the BJP celebrated one year of Manohar Parrikar’s rule by visiting an old-age home at Margao.

Led by former MLA Damu Naik, the BJP workers distributed sweets to the inmates of the home.

While addressing the inmates and party workers, Damu said the Parrikar government has fulfilled most of the promises made to the people during the last one year. He said the government has even completed projects mooted by the previous government such as the South Goa District Collectorate building by making adequate financial provision.

Saying that there’s no doubt that the Parrikar government will complete its full five-year term, the former BJP legislator exuded confidence that Goa will become a model state during the tenure of the BJP government. The party workers later visited the Lord Damodar Temple near the Nehru stadium.
