A minor dispute between children in Ektanagar, Mapusa, reportedly spiralled into a violent clash between two neighbouring families on Thursday.
According to reports, the argument began in the morning while children were playing in the area. The situation soon escalated as women from both households engaged in heated verbal exchanges.

Later in the evening, male members from the families allegedly joined the confrontation, turning it into a physical altercation.
Several individuals from both sides sustained injuries during the clash. Complaints have been filed by both parties at the Mapusa Police Station. Police have initiated an inquiry into the incident and stated that further investigation is currently underway to determine the exact sequence of events.
