Private Vehicle Suspected of Illegal Taxi Operations Intercepted at Mopa Airport

A private vehicle allegedly being used for commercial passenger transport was intercepted at Mopa International Airport on Tuesday after local taxi operators raised objections over its activities.

According to sources, taxi drivers operating at the airport noticed the vehicle allegedly ferrying passengers for hire despite being registered as a private car. Suspecting a violation of transport regulations, they brought the matter to the attention of the authorities.
