Advocate Radharao Gracious has dismissed allegations made against him by Congress leaders Amarnath Panjikar and Sidhnath Buyao, describing the accusations as baseless and politically motivated.
Addressing the media, Gracious clarified that his earlier remarks regarding the alleged distribution of election tickets were based on public perception and should not be construed as personal attacks against any individual.

He further stated that although he is not a member of the Congress party, he had worked extensively for the party during the Lok Sabha elections. Gracious claimed that if the Congress intends to improve its electoral prospects in Goa, it should keep former Goa Congress chief Girish Chodankar away from the party’s leadership in the state.
Gracious also alleged that he is in possession of a complaint purportedly sent by a Congress Member of Parliament from Tamil Nadu to the party high command, accusing Chodankar of involvement in the alleged sale of election tickets during polls in Tamil Nadu. However, no evidence supporting the claim was publicly produced at the time of his statement.
Referring to Congress leader Sidhnath Buyao, Gracious further alleged that Buyao’s company was awarded a social media campaign contract worth ₹4.5 crore for election-related work in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry despite, according to him, having no familiarity with the region’s art and culture.
The allegations and counter-allegations add to the ongoing political sparring within and around the Congress, although the claims made by Gracious have not been independently verified. There has been no immediate response from the leaders named in his statement.
