The essay writing competition is scheduled to be held on June 13 at Adarsh V.V. High School in Margao, while the patriotic song and drawing competitions will take place on June 18 at Lohia Maidan, Margao.
Winners of the various competitions will be awarded cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. The organising committee has invited schools to submit entries within the stipulated deadlines to ensure maximum participation in the commemorative events.
The annual celebrations aim to instil patriotism and create awareness among students about Goa’s freedom struggle and the sacrifices made during the movement for liberation.
