The Chicalim Village Panchayat organised a ‘Mhaje Ghar’ awareness camp to educate residents about the government housing initiative and address queries related to the scheme in the presence of Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho and other senior officials.
The camp was attended by Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav, Deputy Collector Pratap Rao Gaonkar, representatives of the Comunidade, and officials from various government departments, who interacted with residents and clarified doubts regarding the implementation of the scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho thanked the Comunidade for extending its support to the government’s ‘Mhaje Ghar’ initiative. He said the cooperation of local institutions is vital to ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of the housing scheme.
The awareness programme aimed to provide residents with information on eligibility criteria, application procedures, and other aspects of the scheme while helping resolve concerns raised by the public.
Officials said such outreach programmes are intended to improve public awareness and facilitate the effective implementation of government welfare initiatives at the grassroots level.
