Goa Govt Appoints Three-Member CA Panel to Audit Goa Cricket Association Accounts

The Goa Registration Department has appointed a three-member panel of Chartered Accountants to conduct an independent audit of the Goa Cricket Association’s (GCA) accounts and financial records after courts declined to stay the audit order.

The audit panel comprises CA Shree Shashi Nair, CA Akshaya Prabhakar Raut and CA Elce Francisco Vaz. The team has been tasked with examining the association’s financial affairs and records as part of the independent audit process.

The appointment follows the refusal of the courts to grant a stay on the government’s decision to audit the Goa Cricket Association’s finances.

The independent audit is expected to scrutinise the GCA’s financial transactions, accounts and related records in accordance with the directions issued by the Registration Department.
