Addressing the media, BJP leaders alleged that several development projects in the Cortalim constituency have remained incomplete under the leadership of Independent MLA Anton Vas. They claimed that constituencies represented by BJP legislators have witnessed quicker infrastructure development and appealed to voters to elect a BJP MLA in the upcoming Goa Assembly elections to accelerate pending works.

The demonstration was attended by BJP Cortalim Mandal Prabhari Deepak Naik and Zilla Panchayat member Sunil Naik, who expressed support for the residents after receiving a memorandum highlighting their grievances and demands.
