Aleixo Francisco da Costa Files Complaint Against Verna PI, SDPO Over Handling of Case Against Vishwajit Rane

Aleixo Francisco da Costa has lodged a complaint with the Superintendent of Police (South Goa), alleging negligence and dereliction of duty by Verna Police Inspector Anand Shirodkar and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Mormugao, in connection with his complaint against Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister Vishwajit Rane.

In his representation, da Costa alleged that the police officers failed to discharge their duties appropriately while dealing with the complaint he had filed against the minister. He has sought action against the officials for the alleged lapses in handling the matter.

The complaint has been submitted to the South Goa Superintendent of Police for appropriate consideration and further action.

Police authorities are yet to issue an official response to the allegations made by da Costa.
