Rahul Gandhi Pays Tribute at Gandhi Smriti, Backs Students Amid NEET Paper Leak Protests

Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday evening paid homage at Gandhi Smriti in Delhi along with Opposition MPs and leaders of the INDIA alliance, despite heavy police deployment and efforts to prevent the march towards Tees January Marg.

During the visit, Gandhi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries sustained by students during the ongoing protests linked to the alleged NEET paper leak.

Reaffirming his support for the agitating students, Rahul Gandhi said the Opposition would continue to stand by them and fight for their rights. He also called for accountability from those responsible for the alleged irregularities surrounding the examination.

The visit came amid heightened political activity over the NEET controversy, with the Opposition intensifying its criticism of the government and demanding a transparent investigation into the alleged paper leak and broader reforms to safeguard the integrity of competitive examinations.
