The Padya Poojan ceremony of “Vasco Nagarichi May Bhavani” was held at the hall of Shri Khapreshwar Sansthan in Belabai, Vasco, marking the ceremonial commencement of preparations for the Navratri festival to be celebrated in October.
The event was organised by the Vayu Sparsh Social and Cultural Club and witnessed the participation of devotees, club members and office-bearers.

The rituals were performed under the leadership of Club President Tanishk Jeevan Divkar, while priest Amay Patwardhan conducted the religious ceremonies in accordance with traditional customs.
Among those present were Club Treasurer Vighnesh Naik, Vice President Swapnil Kolgaonkar and several members of the organisation, who joined devotees in offering prayers and seeking the blessings of Goddess Bhavani.
The ceremony signalled the formal beginning of the preparations for the annual Navratri celebrations, which are observed with religious fervour and cultural programmes across the region.
