Santa Cruz Panchayat Faces Row Over Alleged Missing NOC, ₹1.8 Lakh Revenue Loss Claimed

A controversy has surfaced in the Santa Cruz Village Panchayat after complainant Inacio Dominic Pereira alleged that the organisers of an event held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium failed to obtain the mandatory No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Panchayat.

Pereira claimed that although Santa Cruz Sarpanch Jennifer De Oliveira had issued a notice regarding the matter, no further action was taken against the organisers. He alleged that the Panchayat’s inaction resulted in a revenue loss of approximately ₹1.80 lakh.
