Fishing Canoe Capsizes Off Aguada Fort; Three Rescued, Two Swim Ashore Safely

A fishing canoe carrying five persons capsized off Aguada Fort near Sinquerim on Friday morning, triggering a swift rescue operation by the Coastal Police and local fishermen.

According to officials, two of the occupants managed to swim safely to the shore at Aguada after the canoe overturned. The remaining three were rescued from the sea near Reis Magos with the assistance of the Coastal Police and local fishermen.
