After enduring a difficult start during the England series, the 15-year-old returned to the Rajasthan Royals High Performance Centre in Talegaon, Nagpur, where he trained under former India batting coach Vikram Rathour.
Determined to iron out flaws in his game, Suryavanshi spent several days focusing on batting technique, shot selection and mental preparation. The intensive sessions proved to be a turning point, helping him regain confidence before India’s T20I series against Zimbabwe.

The hard work translated into impressive performances on the field. Suryavanshi amassed 151 runs in three T20Is at a blistering strike rate of 196.10, including two half-centuries. His fearless batting earned him the Player of the Tournament award and established him as one of India’s brightest young prospects.
His international journey had begun in England, where he struggled to convert promising starts into significant scores.
