North Goa POCSO Court Sentences Man to 20 Years for Sexual Assault of Minor Girl

A Special POCSO Court in North Goa has convicted a 28-year-old man for the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl and sentenced him to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment.

The conviction was based on witness testimony and medical evidence, which established that the accused sexually assaulted the minor in 2024. The assault resulted in the victim becoming pregnant.
