Congress, Goa Forward to Hold Formal Talks to Strengthen Alliance: Girish Chodankar

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar on Friday said he held a cordial and productive meeting with Goa Forward Party (GFP) President Vijai Sardesai to discuss key issues affecting Goa under the BJP-led government and the future course of action.

Chodankar said the two leaders agreed to hold formal discussions in the near future to further strengthen the Congress-GFP alliance ahead of upcoming political challenges.

He emphasised that successful political alliances are built on discipline, mutual respect and a shared sense of purpose. The meeting is being viewed as a step towards reinforcing opposition unity in the state, with both leaders expressing their willingness to deepen cooperation in the interest of Goa and its people.
